Monthly squad fees
Squad fees are payable monthly on the first day of the month. You will receive an invoice for your first full month and thereafter monthly in advance. The fee structure is detailed below
Annual membership fees
There is also a membership fee which is payable annually at the start of the season in September. Current membership fees are detailed below.
Joining fee
On joining the fee you will be asked to pay a joining fee which also includes your membership for the rest of the season (Sept-Aug). Joinging fees are the same as the annual membership fee shown below. You will also be billed the relevant prorated squad fee for the month in which you join the club to cover the number of days you will you are in that squad for that month, typically this within a few days of registering.
Payment method
Payment is by Credit or Debit card registered on the system when joining. You will need to keep a valid card registered to avoid interuption to your membership.
Your invoice will include any club shop purchases and any meet fees for meets you have entered through the website and any meets where the initial costs of entry had to be paid by the club. Meet fees will always be advertised when entering.
Student discount for Master swimmers at university
We can offer to only bill students in April, June, July, August, September and December on the basis you do not swim in the other months. Please email [email protected] to state you wish to be on this scheme.
Masters shift workers
We can offer a month on/month off facility for any swimmers who work a shift pattern that means they could commit to regular swimming one (or two) month(s) on and one (or two) month(s) off. Please email stephholland@[email protected] to state you wish to be on this scheme.
Notice period on leaving
Leavers Policy
If your swimmer is thinking of leaving, please have a chat with their coach in the first instance.
If sadly you decide to give notice, please send an email to your coach, team manager, or via the website contact us link so that we are able to action it. A full calendar month is required as notice in addition to any remaining time already paid for in the current month.
During the notice period swimmers can continue their normal swimming sessions.
For example,
- Email notice is given 15th of September,
- the last payment will be 1st October,
- the final day of swimming will be 31st October.
If you are thinking of leaving because you are having difficulties meeting the payments due to financial hardship then please make contact with your coach or the committee, and we will be able to discuss a different approach.

Current fees
The cost of membership is dependent on the number of swimming hours available in the swimmer's squad. Monthly costs for each squad, excluding membership fee,
Current fees are as follows:
Advance performance squad £104
Performance squad £99
Competitive squad £94
Academy squad £83.50
Development squad £66
Pathway squad £79.50
Masters/Youth £35
The annual membership charge is billed in September (unless advised otherwise) and for those in Development, Academy, Pathway, Performance and Advanced Performance squads is currently £60. For Masters and Youth this membership is £35, (£60 for any competing masters/youth swimmers).
Squad fees are charged for all 12 months of the year despite the summer break and they are prorated to reflect this.
